Sarlat fest’oie (Sarlat) / 08 March 2026

Geese are the focus during this weekend event, covered from a wide variety of angles, catering to a surprising variety of tastes. Traditional know-how is put to the fore through the highlighting of the use of geese in crafts, notably via calligraphy using goose plumes, or then ceramics decorated with geese. For foodies and those who want to understand long-established local culinary traditions, learn about how to carve a goose, and try a 100% local soup made from goose carcasses. This event really makes you see the extent to which geese are part of the local culture.
