🔴 Flood Status as of 04/25/2025
🔹Angoulême > Jarnac : From the lake of the large meadow (St Yrieix) to L'Houmeau in Angoulême, some passages with 20 to 30 cm of water
🔹 Jarnac > Cognac : Some areas are slightly flooded, but it's manageable! The water level is receding.
🔹 Cognac > Saintes : The water level should begin receding early this week.
👉 We recommend taking the small roads near the route to rejoin the main route at Les Gonds.
Please remain cautious.
🟡 Works information ➡️Saint-Savinien / Rochefort
A diversion is in place before reaching the commercial port in Rochefort. Passing through the commercial dock lock is inaccessible. You must take Avenue Victor Louis Bachelar, D911.
Please follow the diversion signs and remain vigilant!

🟡 Works information ➡️ Angoulême/ Châteauneuf-sur-Charente
Arriving at Mosnac/St-Simeux, a diversion is in place to enable works at the level of the Mosnac / St Simeux Lock, starting from 20 September 2024 and lasting 8 months.
Please note, do not follow the GPX tracks for this stretch; instead, follow the diversion signs in place. (You can also see the orange arrow to follow on our map.)

🟡 Works information ➡️ Angoulême / Marthon
Works around the Gond-Pontouvre school complex means a diversion will be in place from 28 June 2024, duration of the works not known at time of writing.
