All the information you need to choose the right equipment for your cycling trip along La Flow Vélo
To make the most of your cycling trip, you need to be well prepared. Try to think ahead of all you might need, so that you’re not caught out. Check here the equipment you should have to set out on La Flow Vélo.
Your bicycle
If heading off cycling for several days or more, opt for a good-quality bike, preferably a hybrid bike (Vélo Tout Chemin, or VTC, in French) with a good number of gears and a comfortable saddle (leather is best). If just going out on a day’s outing, you can use any type of bike.

Luggage
Some may prefer to find a company to deal with baggage transfer from one stopover to the next. Others may use panniers fixed to the luggage carrier or frame. Avoid rucksacks. There’s a wide range of panniers available, going from a capacity of 10 litres to 70 litres.
